New Dawn
Morning Glory strikes the night,
Bringing forth the new day.
Birds rise and take flight,
Singing music along the way.
The sky turns blue
And the sun rises high.
The world is new
And birds may fly.
Grace the air with scents of flowers
With rains that give them showers.
Day by Day
Magenta springs from rose dew drops.
Just like the day, life begins again.
Farmers get to work on their new crops
As the sun rises over the glen.
The dew drops fade away.
The sun claims it’s noon.
Kids wish for it to stay,
Though it will be night soon.
The moon glows a bright white.
With this heavenly glow,
Comes a cool, crisp night.
Soon it shall be ‘morrow.
This is just how the day goes by.
We don’t ask how and don’t ask why.
